CUIT/CUIL number
Level 2 or higher Fiscal Key.
Do you have everything? You can now delegate your domain.
Go to Remote Procedures and log in from the AFIP option with your CUIT/CUIL number and Level 2 or higher Fiscal Key or from Non-Resident NIC, as appropriate.
If you represent a Natural or Legal Person, click on the left dropdown menu and choose from the list the name of the person, company, or organization that will carry out the procedure. If it does not appear in the list, it means you are not their representative. In order to carry out procedures on their behalf, you must represent them by following the steps in the instructions for Natural or Legal Person as appropriate.
Within Agency, you will find the procedures of NIC Argentina. Select the option NICar - Records, Renewals and Other Operations and click on Start Procedure.
From the List of domains select the domain you want to operate on and click on the Delegate option. For a faster search, use the filter in that list.
You can also enter the domain name in the Domain Searcher, choose the zone, and click on Consult. Then, from there, you can select the Delegate option.
Click on Add a new delegation.
Do not confuse this option with Self-delegate. This second option is used to create Own DNS and has a completely different function.
Then, enter the DNS that we have provided you with or the ones you need to delegate and save the changes.
Remember that you will have to enter two DNS. So you will have to repeat this operation twice. If you have more than two DNS, you will have to delete the ones you no longer use when entering ours.
If the DNS configuration looks like the image below, press the Execute Changes button to confirm the operation.
The domain will be active as soon as the DNS change propagates on the networks.
During the DNS delegation process, if you encounter any error on the screen that you cannot resolve on your own, we recommend contacting nic.ar's online support. We suggest using the chat support, where they can assist you at all times.
You can request support by following these steps:
In the top gray menu, go to HELP=>USER SUPPORT.
You will see the different communication channels on the screen.
