# How to change PHP version in HestiaCPl?

To change the **PHP version** used by a hosting account in HestiaCP, follow these steps:

1. Within the account you want to modify, go to the **WEB** section.
2. Then, edit the domain details by clicking on the **pencil** icon.

3. In the domain data configuration section, scroll down until you find the button that says **Advanced Options**. Click on this button to reveal more options.
4. Among the new options, locate the dropdown menu labeled **Backend Template**.\
   Choose the PHP version that your website requires.
