# How to Change Account Password in HestiaCP?

To change the access password for the Control Panel and FTP of a particular user, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, logged in as **admin**, go to the **USER** area.
2. Then, click on the account for which you want to change the FTP password or access to the Control Panel.

3. On the screen of the selected user, click on the upper right icon shown in the image.
4. The data for editing the user will appear. Among its data, you will see the box to change the password.
5. Finally, press the **Save** button.
