# What is the difference between shared and cloud hosting?

In shared hosting, you have your web space with the features of your plan, separately and independently, but within a server that hosts other clients. You share the server with them, so you also share the hardware resources of that server.

In cloud hosting, you will have an entire server at your disposal. Cloud servers are recommended for websites with very high traffic and CPU consumption or hardware resources, and also for companies or individuals whose web project requires a lot of space and/or the highest security and protection measures.

Another advantage of cloud servers is that you will have an IP for email sending that will not be shared with any other client.
