# How to modify the DNS Zone of an account in WHM?

In this instance of WHM, you can make modifications to the DNS zone of your domains without the need to access cPanel.

After logging into WHM, navigate to "DNS Functions" => "DNS Zone Manager".

Next, we will explain the points marked in the image:

(1) => With these buttons, you can create records in the domain's zone without the need to access the zone itself. It will allow you to quickly create A, CNAME, and MX records. When you click on any of these buttons, a window will appear as shown in the image below:

(2) => Clicking on this button will take you to the DNS zone editing screen for the specific domain.

Here, you can create new records or edit existing ones.

One particular feature that is not present in the DNS zone within cPanel is that you can edit the DNS or NameServers used by the domain, as shown in point (1) in the image above.
