# How to change password, space limits, and other options for my email accounts in cPanel?
Below, we will show you how to change the password, space limits, and other options for your email accounts.
There are two ways to access the configuration of your email accounts:

### Access from the cPanel control panel
1. In your browser, enter the following web address:\
`mydomain.com/cpanel`\
\
Alternatively, you can log in with the web address:\
`cpanel.mydomain.com`

**Access to the control panel without delegated domain:**\
\
The use of email accounts depends heavily on the domain you use being delegated.\
If it is necessary to access the cPanel control panel without a delegated domain, you can use the **IP address** of your server or access it from the **Customer Area**. \
In this same guide, you will see how to access it from the **Customer Area**. \
\
In the **Technical Information** section of your hosting plan, you will find the IP address of your server.\
With this IP, you can access the control panel by typing:\
`IPAddress:2083`

2. Once in the **cPanel control panel**, go to **Email Accounts** in the **Email** box.

3. Once you see your list of created email accounts, click on the **Manage** button for the account you want to modify.

4. On the new screen, you will see several options that you can modify:
* You can change the password of the email account
* You can modify the maximum space the account occupies
* You can assign restrictions and permissions
* You can delete the email account.

Remember to save any modifications you make on this screen by clicking the **Update Email Configuration** button at the bottom of the screen.

### Access to email accounts configuration from the Customer Area
1. Log in to your [**Customer Area**](../../../../customer-area/accessing-the-customer-area.md) and click on **Services**, then **My Services**

2. From the list of hosting plans, access the one you want to modify the email account for

3. On the new screen, you will find the option to access the **cPanel control panel**
You will also see, in the central box **Technical Information**, the direct link to the panel from your browser.

4. Once in the **cPanel control panel**, go to **Email Accounts** in the **Email** box.

### Changing password and other options in Plesk
1. When accessing **Plesk** from your **customer area**, choose the **Mail** option from the left menu. You will see the list of created email accounts, the space they occupy, and a button to delete them.
2. Click on an email account, and you can modify its details.

On the new screen, you will see several options that you can modify:
* The name of the email account
* A secondary email account for password recovery
* Changing the password of the email account
* The maximum space limit that the email account can occupy.
By clicking the **ACCEPT** button, you will save the changes made.
