Flask
Flask, the Python microframework, served with gunicorn.
This family is installed with the Flask version and the database version you choose. Only combinations that work together exist.
Available versions
Python versions: Python 3.11, Python 3.12, Python 3.13, Python 3.14
| Database | Versions | Stable |
|---|---|---|
| MySQL | 8.4 | 8.4 |
| MariaDB | 10.11, 11.4, 11.8 | 11.8 |
| PostgreSQL | 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 | 18 |
| MongoDB | 7.0, 8.0 | 8.0 |
| Redis | 6.2, 7.2, 7.4, 8.0, 8.2 | 8.2 |
It can also be installed without a database: the identifier ends in -none.
Not every database version combines with every language version: the installer offers only those that work together.
Install
With the stable versions:
docker-deploy-stack --stack python/flask-postgres
With chosen versions:
docker-deploy-stack --stack python/flask-python3.12-postgres-18
The identifier without a version (flask-postgres) picks the stable ones. To see every identifier: docker-deploy-stack --list. docker-deploy-stack --list --legacy also shows versions the vendor no longer maintains; installing them asks for confirmation.
After installing
The stack is placed in /root/stack/python/flask-python3.14-postgres-18/. To start it:
cd /root/stack/python/flask-python3.14-postgres-18
docker compose up -d
To install and deploy your application, follow How do I deploy a Stack? and How do I deploy an application on a Stack?. To choose versions or upgrade, see Choosing versions and upgrading a Stack.
